The War Memorial Hall, opened in 1956 in honour of those who served and those who lost their lives in two World Wars, is used on a daily basis for all manner of activities and events. The Hall, with disabled access, can accommodate 130 seated in rows, theatre style, or up to 120 when tables are used, a hearing loop is installed. The Village Hall has been totally renovated in October 2021, thanks to a grant from the HS2 Community Fund. It now meets all requirements for accessibility and Health and Safety.
